FOSFOQUIM FUMIGACIONES count on mobile fumigation units equipped with everything to perform the fumigation services on the customer´s facilities, without the need of transport the fruit to a fumigation center.

Chilean agriculture authorities are in charge of the certification of the fumigations performed by FOSFOQUIM FUMIGACIONES, and the traceability of the fresh fruit phosphine fumigation process has been recognized and certified as valid for the authorities.

Pre-shipment phosphine fumigation allow our customers to Access new and distant markets with fruit free from insect and in good conditions.

The main advantages of our fresh fruit phosphine fumigation metod are:

  1. No need to warm up the fruit. The fumigation process is carried out in cool houses at storage temperature.

  2. Fumigation chambers are certified annually, allowing to perfom the fumigation in a safe and efficient way, safeguarding the health of the operators of the packing house that may work close to the fumigation chambers.

  3. Allow the effective control of a wide variety of fresh fruit pestswithout causing any damages to the treated fruit.

  4. After 72 hours post treatment, there are no detectable residues on the treated products.

  5. Traceable process allows the authorities to validate fumigation treatments.

  6. All fumigations are coordinated with Health and Agriculture authorities if applicable.

  7. FOSFOQUIM FUMIGACIONES certifies the aeration process after the fumigation, ensuring no people is exposed to dangerous phosphine concentrations.
